Dental Crowns Restore Your Smile

Crowns serve as durable shields placed over a damaged tooth to protect it, all the while restoring tooth function and improving your smile. With the use of state of the art CEREC machines, the Dentist is able to use tooth-colored porcelain matched to your smile, to create a crown in as little as 90 minutes, a process that used to take multiple sessions!

When Are Crowns Used?

The Dentist may recommend a crown to restore a broken or worn down tooth, to cover and support a tooth with a large filling where there is not much tooth left, and to protect a tooth that has been weakened by decay.

What Should I Expect When Getting A Crown?

The procedure begins by preparing the tooth by first reducing the surface area of the tooth so that the crown fits over it and looks natural. The Dentist will then use a 3D camera to scan your teeth, and with that scan, a state of the art mill will create your crown from a ceramic block.
